A communications satellite is typically 12-24 transponders on board. A transponder is nothing but a bunch of receivers, converters, and transmitter and the normal output is calculated with 5 to 10 watts has beenpotential in the L-band C-band or Ku-band or in the work microwave. Ka band (18-31 GHz) can work even in some cases. Communication via mobile satellite system can not be used.

Geosynchronous satellite orbit of the Earth - GEO:

This is a satellite orbiting the earth about 22,000 miles above the equator on. E 'with a fixed direction of the earth. And 'well with the speed of rotation of the earth so much, it seems synchronizedeven if it is stopped at this point all the time. Earth-satellite-Earth is about 0.25 seconds. normal bands are working on 4 to 6 GHz (C band) and 12 to 14 GHz (Ku-band frequency up to normal of 10.9 17 GHz). Signals that will be above 3 GHz microwave ovens.

Low Earth Orbit Satellite - LEO system.

In this system, a constellation consisting of a large number of satellites in circular orbit above the earth's surface along a constant altitude of a few hundred miles (asto 22 000 miles in GEO). The entire constellation is systematically arranged so that at least one satellite always in control. Each geographical area is covered by satellites in orbit. Internet access, while the wireless setup is possible in this. L band - 0.5 to 1.5 GHz - function, namely, satellite receiver and satellite phone.

Medium Earth Orbit Satellites: MEO

It is not writing articles or specify a fixed point onthe orbit of the Earth as a GEO. In fact, it is between a GEO and LEO. You must log methodology to monitor access to satellite or use a precise frequency band to the satellite using a non-sense antenna.
